Eve Blazo - LCSW
Clinical Associate

Understanding the therapeutic process to be collaborative and deeply dynamic, Eve’s practice is attuned to your evolving needs. She will guide you in your work to identify and express troubling emotions and inhibiting patterns. As you uncover insights, you will develop a greater understanding of your innermost motivations and access more agency in your life.

Eve’s integrative practice includes working from a psychodynamic, modern psychoanalytic, and relational perspective—incorporating cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based modalities as needed. Her approach is warm, direct, and devoted to providing a non-judgmental, safe space to work through both past and present issues.

She has experience working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and relational dynamics–with both individuals and couples. She received training in LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy and issues related to racial identity, sexuality, and gender identity.

Prior to receiving her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, Eve earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Modern Culture and Media studies. She completed her fellowship in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York and is currently a candidate at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies. As of 2022, Eve is serving as the Associate Director of the Institute for Human Identity, an LGBTQ+ affirmative mental health center. In addition to her clinical work, Eve has worked as a writer, a director at a start-up, and a certified yoga teacher.
